1. Use of Service

ATS Resume Checker provides an AI-powered resume checker. You upload your resume and add the description of a job you are applying for, and the Service returns an ATS compatibility score together with a prioritized list of suggested fixes intended to help you improve your resume.

You agree not to submit:

• Illegal content
• Nudity or sexual content
• Copyrighted material you do not have the right to use
• Harmful or abusive content
• Resumes, job descriptions, or other documents containing another person's personal data that you do not have the right to share

The Service is a career tool. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information in your resume and in any application materials you prepare with the Service. We may refuse service for violations.

2. Payments

Payments for paid plans are processed by secure third-party services (Stripe). We do not store your payment details.

3. AI Output Disclaimer

AI scores and suggestions are generated automatically.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy or completeness of any score or suggestion
• That any particular applicant tracking system will parse or rank your resume in a specific way
• Alignment with any employer's or recruiter's preferences
• Any interview, job offer, or other hiring outcome

AI output is provided for informational purposes only. Always review your resume and application materials independently before relying on them or sending them to an employer.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, and related text). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely for generating scores and suggestions and operating the Service.

All website content, branding, and AI models belong to ATS Resume Checker.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

• Data loss
• Service interruptions
• Inaccurate or incomplete AI scores or suggestions
• Hiring or other consequences of how you use the results, including any decision made by an employer, recruiter, or applicant tracking system

Use the service at your own risk.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate service access for violations of these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction unless otherwise specified.

8. Plans & Billing

8.1 Plans and Subscription Service

ATS Resume Checkeroffers a Free plan ($0/month, limited to 1 resume scan and including a keyword list and basic formatting checks), a Pro plan ($9.99/month, with unlimited scans, the full AI re‑writer, priority support, and tailored templates), and a Career plan ($19.99/month, with everything in Pro plus Cover Letter AI, LinkedIn optimization, and a career roadmap). By purchasing a paid plan, you obtain access to certain features and content ("Subscription") on a recurring, automatically renewing basis until cancelled.

8.2 Recurring Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis (or as otherwise disclosed at checkout) at the then‑current price (currently $9.99 per month for Pro and $19.99 per month for Career). On each billing date, you authorize us and our payment processor (such as Stripe, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) to charge the payment method on file for the applicable subscription fee until you cancel. Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it in accordance with Section 8.3. We may change the subscription price from time to time; any change will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect on your next billing cycle unless you cancel before that date.

8.3 How to Cancel

You may cancel your Subscription at any time by visiting your account page at https://atscheckers.com or by contacting our support at support@atscheckers.com. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the Subscription until that time. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period.

8.4 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7‑day money‑back guarantee on paid Subscriptions: if you are not satisfied, contact us at support@atscheckers.com within 7 days of your first charge and we will issue a full refund. After this period, payments are non‑refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise in writing by us. Following any cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Subscription through the end of your paid billing period.

8.5 Failed Payments & Suspension

If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, we may attempt to re‑process the charge. If payment remains unsuccessful, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Subscription until payment is successfully processed. We are not responsible for any fees or charges imposed on you by your bank or payment provider in connection with our processing of your payments.

8.6 Promotions and Changes

Any promotional offers or discounts are temporary and subject to change. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Subscription (in whole or in part) upon reasonable notice, provided that such changes will not apply retroactively to billing periods you have already paid for.
